Ramita Jindal’s achievements ahead of the women’s 10m air rifle final at Paris Olympics

Ramita Jindal is set to aim for second medal for India in the Paris Olympics at the medal round of the women’s 10m air rifle on Monday, July 29. As the underdog in a shooting contingent that includes stars like Arjun Cheema, Manu Bhaker, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, she has the potential to become a new sensation in shooting if she performs her best in the final.

The 20-year-old advanced to the final with a remarkable display of nerves in the qualification round, finishing in 5th place with a score of 631.5.

Ramita Jindal past achievements

Ramita Jindal is a Junior World Championship star, having won two gold medals in the event. Jindal also clinched a gold in the Shooting World Cup in 2022. However, she came into the spotlight with her two medals in the 2023 Asian Games, where she won silver and bronze in two events.

She currently holds the 11th rank in the world for the 10m air rifle event.
