At the Dudinska 50 2024 athletics competition in Dudince, Slovakia on Saturday, India’s Ram Baboo won the bronze medal in the men’s 20km race walk event. In doing so, Ram broke the qualifying standard for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The 24-year-old Baboo met the 1:20:10 Paris Olympics qualifying standard for the event by clocking in at one hour and twenty minutes.
With a time of 1:19:41, Cesar Augusto Rodriguez of Peru won the gold medal, and Ecuador’s Brian Daniel Pintado took home the silver in 1:19:44.
