PVL 2023 Highlights: Kochi Blue Spikers vs Chennai Blitz Highlights:  Chennai Blitz defeated Kochi Blue Spikers 3-2 to start their Prime Volleyball League 2023 campaign with a victory on Tuesday, 7th February 2023. Both the teams won two sets each and it was all down to the fifth set. Blitz held their nerves to clinch the tie 15-9, 11-15, 15-10, 8-15, 15-9. The matchwas played at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium. The Kochi Blue Spikers had a disappointing season last year. They managed to win just a solitary game to finish at the seventh spot. Ahead of this season, the team has undergone an overhaul. The team will be led by Eduardo Romay from Peru. Vipul Kumar, an experienced Indian will be his deputy this season.

Chennai Blitz meanwhile have named Argentinian Coach Ruben Volochin as their head coach. While the team has retained experienced players like Naveen Raja Jacob and Akhin GS, the other players are all new to the set-up and they hope to make a good start to the upcoming edition. Naveen will be the skipper of the side.
