Calicut Heroes vs Kochi Blue Spikers
Calicut Heroes have had a good run in the tournament so far. They began the tournament with three straight wins. The clinched 4-1 wins against Mumbai Meteors and Hyderabad Blackhawks in the first two games. In the third game, they won a thriller against Kolkata Thunderbolts to secure a 3-2 win.
They suffered their first defeat of the tournament in their previous game against Ahmedabad Defenders. Playing in front of the home crowd, they now look to get back to winning ways. They are set to face a struggling Chennai Blitz.

Kochi Blue Spikers meanwhile had a contrasting season so far. They are yet to win a single match and are looking for a turnaround of fortunes. While they have lost three matches with a margin of 2-3, the team led by Vipul Kumar lost against defending champions Kolkata Thunderbolts 1-4.
Despite entering the contest as the underdogs against a strong Calicut Heroes, Kochi hope to not disappoint their local fans and want to win their first match of the season in front of the home fans.
