PV Sindhu spills beans on future, retirement after crashing out of Paris Olympics

Ace India shuttler PV Sindhu lost 2-0 (19-21, 14-21) in her round of 16 clash against China's He Bingjiao in the Paris Olympics

India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu is currently uncertain about her participation in the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028. Her remarks come after she crashed out of the Paris Olympics following a loss in her round of 16 match. When asked about her future after her heartbreaking exit from the event, Sindhu stated that she will adopt a wait and watch approach to decide the course of her future.

The first set saw a neck-to-neck battle between Sindhu and her opponent He Bingjiao. The Indian managed to be at par until the scoreline read 19-19 following which Bing Jiao went on to clinch the set 21-19.

The second set was the final nail in the coffin for Sindhu as her opponent outclassed her 21-14 to win the game by clinching two straight sets. With this defeat in the round of 16, PV Sindhu has been knocked out of the Paris Olympics.
