Sasi Kumar Mukund is continuing to build on his form at the Pune Challenger. The 27-year-old has made his way into the quarterfinal with a straight sets thrashing to Felix Gill. The lone Indian singles player in action on Day 3 of the Challenger 100 event, Mukund, did not disappoint Indian fans.
In the doubles, six Indians were in action. Top seeds Arjun Kadhe and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan beat compatriots Niki Kaliyanda Poonacha and Rithvik Choudary Bollipalli in straight sets. Meanwhile, unranked duo Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni beat second seeds Piotr Matuszewski and Matthew Christopher Romios in two sets.
For Mukund, third-seeded Adam Walton awaits in the quarterfinal. Ramanathan and Myneni will face Duje Ajduković and Enrico Dalla Valle, while top seeds Kadhe and Nedunchezhiyan will go against the German duo of Mark Wallner and Jakob Schnaitter.
