Later in the night, Dabang Delhi will lock horns with Bengaluru Bulls in what can be termed as the top of the table clash with both the teams entering the contest after facing defeat in their previous game.

UP Yoddha vs Haryana Steelers [7.30 PM]

Riding on the back of a thumping 15 point win and creating a record in Pro Kabaddi League history with a total of 22 defensive points in the 42-27 win over Bengaluru Bulls, UP Yoddha is aiming to continue their winning run against Haryana Steelers.

While star raider Pardeep Narwal’s form is still a big concern for the Yoddha, Srikanth Jadhav’s stunning performance in the last game, where he picked up a Super 10 including three tackle points has come as a big positive. Along with Surender Gill UP now suddenly have a good raiding combination.

The Yoddha defence have also sprung back to life in the last game with brilliant performances from Sumit, Nitesh Kumar, Ashu Singh and Shubam Kumar and this looks like an attack that good pin down any good raider and that would be something that Haryana Steelers would be wary of.

Haryana enter this contest after going down against Tamil Thalaivas, another strong defending unit in the league, in their last game. Captain Vikas Kandola was the only one who put up a good show with nine points. Apart from him none of the other players could do anything against Tamil Thalaivas. Haryana Steelers would look to quickly get back on their heels against a confident looking UP Yoddha.

Bengaluru Bulls vs Dabang Delhi [8.30 PM]

Bengaluru Bulls and Dabang Delhi will be playing each other after facing defeats in their last game and will now look to get back to winnings ways.

Dabang Delhi were handed their first defeat of the season by the Jaipur Pink Panthers yesterday while UP Yoddha thrashed Pawan Sehrawat’s men.

Delhi were in the ascendancy in the first half with a 19-14 lead. But Naveen Kumar was tackled easily by the Panthers and never really let Delhi consolidate on the lead. Delhi’s stong defensive unit comprising Manjeet Chillar, Joginder Narwal and Sandeep Narwal also committed errors and had couldn’t manage to silence raiders Arjun Deshwal and Deepak Hooda as they faced their first defeat.

In Bengaluru, they face another raid-heavy unit with Pawan Sehrawat and Chandran Ranjith in their ranks. The challenge for Bengaluru is to keep raider Naveen silent. Jaipur Pink Panthers managed to keep him away from the mat for most of the time and Naveen managed to only score seven raid points in the league. Bengaluru’s defenders Aman and Saurabh Nandal will look to repeat the ploy against the best raider of the current season to get back to winning ways.
