Sagar has been in a terrific form throughout the season. But at the moment, when the tournament is at it business end, where every match is crucial for his team, Sagar has shown some exceptional form initimidating the opposition raiders with his tackles. In the last three games, he has scored a whopping tally of 22 tackle points. His performances played a crucial role in the Thalaivas coming back to form by bagging two consecutive victories in their last two games, helping them end their five match winless streak.
“We feel very proud because he has worked a lot for the last three months in the coaching camp. He did wonderfully. So whatever we say he is in a position to deliver it. Once we ask him go for a catch, he will go for the catch and execute it. He has got such a perfection,” said Tamil Thalaivas mentor Kilaru Jagmohan on the defender.

Tamil Thalaivas believed in the youngster who made his debut in the previous season and retained him ahead of the auctions this year. The team can now be proud of the performance that he delivers on the mat. Apart from scoring the most tackle points, Sagar also has eight High 5s in the season, the most by any defender this year. Tamil Thalaivas are currently well-placed at the fifth spot in the points table. Sagar will look to continue his form and help his team seal a playoff spot.
