Pro Kabaddi League posted an update about the reschedule of the match on their official Twitter account. The post read ‘Mashal Sports, the organisers of the Pro Kabaddi League, along with the management of Gujarat Giants have decided to reschedule their match no 74 against Bengaluru Bulls. The match will now be played between Telugu Titans and Bengaluru Bulls on 23rd January 2022. The fixture for Gujarat Giants will be rescheduled to a later date’

Already two matches of Patna Pirates were rescheduled to a later date. With the reason behind the change in the fixtures yet to be revealed, it has led to various speculations.
Gujarat Giants last played a game on 20th January against Tamil Thalaivas and won it 37-35. They are currently placed in the tenth position in the points table. Out of the 11 games they have played, they have won three matches and lost five while three games ended in a tie.
