Pro Kabaddi League, PKL 2024: Pawan Sehrawat's Telugu Titans lose against Dabang Delhi

Another day and another thrilling encounter in the Pro Kabaddi League today. With an outstanding performance from Ashu Malik and Naveen Kumar, Dabang Delhi KC got back to winning form by defeating the host team, Telugu Titans, 41-37 in the 18th match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 11, held at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Saturday. This victory marks Delhi’s second win in three matches, while the Titans have now faced defeat in three out of their four matches.

Ashu and Naveen each scored 15 points for Delhi. On the Titans’ side, Pawan Sehrawat delivered a stellar performance with 18 points, including two super raids, with strong support from Ashish Narwal, who contributed 9 points. However, despite their efforts, the Titans’ defence struggled, ultimately costing them the match.

Earlier, in the first match, PKL witnessed its first tied match of the season, as U Mumba and Bengal Warriors ended with 31-31 points. U Mumba excelled in raiding, securing 15 out of their 31 raid points, with Manjeet contributing a great 8 points. On the other hand, Fazel’s Bengal Warriors dominated defensively, earning 16 points out of 31, with Mayur leading the way with the most tackle points. It was a thrilling contest between the two teams.

With less than two minutes left, Mumbai held a one-point lead until the final 20 seconds. Rohit went for a do-or-die raid but was caught, resulting in the match ending in a 31-31 draw.
