PKL Season 10: Pro Kabaddi League returns with carvan format, starting date here

In the Pro Kabaddi 2023 auction pool, more than 500 players will be put up for bid. The pool includes both domestic kabaddi players and players who have been released from teams.

Pro Kabaddi League (PKL Season 10) tenth season will feature a 12-city caravan format. The league will begin on December 2, 2023, allowing fans of each franchise to witness their favourite stars in their home city later this year.

Anupam Goswami, Head of Sports Leagues at Mashal Sports and League Commissioner for the Pro Kabaddi League, commented on the release of the PKL Season 10 schedule.

He said: “We have witnessed kabaddi spreading across India as a sport people love to watch and play through the success of the last nine seasons of PKL. Now, with our landmark tenth edition, we are excited to grow the sport and continue to be the platform that has seen talent emerge from across the world to shape the future of kabaddi. Without a doubt, a legacy has been built and we are grateful to our athletes and fans equally for being part of this incredible journey. We promise a memorable tenth edition which will be a true celebration of the sport.”

The Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Auction (PKL) will take place in Mumbai from September 8 to September 9, 2023. In the coming weeks, the league will provide more information about the historic season.

The teams will now attempt to fill out their squads in the PKL 10 player auction as a total of 84 players have been retained for Season 10.

In the Pro Kabaddi 2023 auction pool, more than 500 players will be put up for bid. The pool includes both domestic kabaddi players and players who have been released from teams.

The top eight teams from the Senior Nationals Kabaddi Championship over the previous two seasons, as well as the squad members from PKL Seasons 8 and 9, are included. The auction pool will also include players from abroad.

Additionally, the auction pool will include 24 players from the two Khelo India University Games 2023 finalist teams.

Under the supervision and approval of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), Mashal Sports and Disney Star have developed the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) into one of the most prosperous sports leagues in India.

The Pro Kabaddi League has changed the lives of several kabaddi sportsmen in India and around the world. It has the most matches of any professional sports league in India.
