After more than 120 games and 66 days of intense clashes in the PKL league stage, we are now heading into the playoffs, high-stakes games. We have six top teams set to clash against each other for the prestigious PKL 11 silverware. Haryana Steelers became the first team to secure a playoff spot, followed by teams like Dabang Delhi KC, Patna Pirates, UP Yoddhas, and Jaipur Pink Panthers, all of whom have also made it to the playoffs.
We can expect some exciting clashes, especially in the eliminators, where four teams will battle for a ticket to the semi-finals. For them, it’s a do-or-die situation. PKL Playoff format
The format is a bit tricky, as the sixth-placed side will meet the third-placed team in Eliminator 1, while the fourth and fifth-placed teams will lock horns in Eliminator 2. The winner of Eliminator 1 will proceed to Semi-final 1, and the winner of Eliminator 2 will qualify for Semi-final 2. The losers of both matches will be knocked out. The two top teams who have directly qualified are Haryana Steelers and Dabang Delhi.
PKL 2024 Venue
The last round of the league stage will be held in Pune, and the same venue will host the playoff games at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune.
