Mohammadreza Shadloui is the most expensive foreign player at Rs 2.07 Cr with Haryana Steelers breaking the bank. Four players remained unsold on Day 1 of the auction.
As far as the second day is concerned, it was the lesser-known players from Iran, who were a favorite among all the teams. Mohammad Nabibakhsh returned to Gujarat Giants, while Heidarali Ekrami went to UP Yoddhas. Amirhossein Bastami returned to Tamil Thalaivas. But one of the biggest surprises of the day came when India defender and Asian Games gold medalist Vishal Bhardwaj did not find any buyers.
