Pro Kabaddi League: Ahead of the 10th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, all the teams have announced the retention list of the players. A total of 84 players were retained across three categories by the 12 teams ahead of PKL 2023. Biggest surprise is the release of Pawan Sehrawat and Vikas Kandola. Both the star players is set to go under the hammer at the PKL Season 10 Player Auction from 8th-9th September 2023 in Mumbai.

The total of 84 players were retained across the three categories. It includes 22 players from the Elite Retained Players (ERP), 24 in the retained Young Players (RYP) and Existing New Young Players (ENYP) category.
Some of the star retained players were PKL legend Pardeep Narwal. The ‘record-breaker’ has been retained by U.P. Yoddhas. Meanwhile, Puneri Paltan retained its star young player Aslam Mustafa Inamdar. Defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers retained Arjun Deshwal, who won the Most Valuable Player award winner in Season 9.
