Dabang Delhi has been the most consistent side in the last few years, largely because of the raiding prowess under Naveen Kumar. He was one of the biggest reasons that the team won their first title in 2021, and would be hoping for a repeat this time around. Having said that, in PKL 2023, after the team has gone an overhaul, other players will have to step up too.
Naveen Kumar
He is the first choice for any Dabang Delhi team in the Pro Kabaddi. He has emerged as the most talented raiders after the likes of Pardeep Narwal and Pawan Sehrwat, amassing 303 points in 2019 alone.
Ashu Malik
He was bought for a massive 96 lakh by the Dabang Delhi, and has enough talent to justify that kind of price. He could play second fiddle to Naveen.
Meetu
He will be the third raiding option for the Delhi team. That is one area where they would feel, they would never be found wanting.
Vishal Bhardwaj
Although he had a quiet Pro Kabaddi season last year, he showed some form during the Asian Games. He is one of the best left corners in PKL, and would lead the defensive team.
Sunil
The Patna Pirates regular has come to Dabang Delhi this season. Although he also had an underwhelming year, if at his best, he could be devastating.
Balasaheb Jadhav
He was bought at the auction on the second day and for a reason. For now, he looks all set to be in the playing 7, and could be the first choice among a few inexperienced defenders.
Vijay
Vijay could complete their starting 7. He was around for Delhi in the last season as well, but could only score 19 tackle points.
