Bengal Warriors, on the other hand, will be eager to bounce back after successive losses against Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan. The Warriors captain Maninder Singh had a quiet outings in their last two matches as he could manage to score just 8 points from the two matches. He will look to get back to his best to help his team end their losing streak. He’s still been the team’s standout raider this season with 49 raid points from six matches. Maninder has been well supported by Shrikant Jadhav, who has amassed 31 raid points in Season 9, but they need more help from all-rounders Deepak Hooda and Manoj Gowda, both of whom haven’t managed to produce their best in attack yet.
On the defensive front, Girish Maruti Ernak has been the pick of their tacklers and leads the tackle points tally for this season with 23 points to his name. Shubham Shinde is the next best defender of the team having scored 13 tackle points. The defensive unit of the Warriors has the biggest challenge against Naveen Kumar and must improve their performance to keep him silent.
