The first phase of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 has concluded, with the action shifting from the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium Hyderabad to the Noida Indoor Stadium from 10th November. Defending champions Puneri Paltan continue to lead the league standings after the first leg in Hyderabad, but it was a highly competitive three weeks, with every team battling hard until the final whistle of their matches.

Puneri Paltan’s stronghold at the top

Puneri Paltan has accumulated 30 points from eight matches, staying at the top of the table. However, the Telugu Titans, with 26 points in the same number of games, are not far behind, having made the most of their home advantage. Pawan Sehrawat, the captain of the Telugu Titans, praised the Hyderabad crowd for their unwavering support throughout the leg.

“I’ve never seen such incredible support for any team. The fans here in Hyderabad stand by us whether we win or lose. This crowd’s atmosphere could rival any other stadium’s. Our defence has only shown 30-40% of its potential so far, but we’ve managed to stop some of the top raiders in the world. We aim to keep up this form in the upcoming matches,” said Pawan Sehrawat.
