Pakistan hockey team has been in focus for quite some time now. Of course, the team stunned one and all to clinch the bronze medal at the recently concluded Asian Champions Trophy Hockey tournament, but there were a few negatives that made the headlines too. But despite that, they went ahead of teams like Japan, Korea and Malaysia to finish third, after losing to China in the semis. For this ‘stupendous’ achievement, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has come up with a ‘generous’ reward for the players. Allegedly, the PHF president Tariq Bugti has announced a reward of $100 per player.
