Interestingly, Bill’s eldest daughter, Jennifer, also has a passion for equestrian sports. She began dating Nayel Nassar in 2017 after meeting him in the equestrian circuit. The couple married in 2021 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, in March 2023. Jennifer is a skilled rider in her own right. They announced their second pregnancy last month.

Nasser received a good wishes from his mother-in-law, Melinda French Gates. “So excited to watch you compete at the Olympics, Nayel Nassar. I’m rooting for you,” she wrote on Instagram.

The Paris Olympics will not be Nassar’s first time representing his country on the global stage. He first qualified for the mega event at the London Olympics in 2012. There is a strong possibility that he could win a medal this time, as he reached the final in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Nassar’s passion for riding began at a young age—he started riding horses at the age of five and began jumping at ten. The 33-year-old American-Egyptian was born in Chicago and raised in Kuwait.
