And the women archers started the proceedings with the ranking round for the individual event. After shooting 72 arrows each, Ankita Bhakat finished as the best-placed Indian with a score of 666, followed by Bhajan Kaur at 22nd (659), and Deepika Kumari at 23rd (658).
This also means that the Indian team finished fourth in the team qualification event, and that gives the Indian trio of Deepika-Ankita-Bhajan to make an entry into the quarters directly.
