Olympic gold medalist robbed on the streets of Paris, netizens can’t keep calm

With the Olympics event at stake, from robbery to assault, everything is happening in Paris. An Olympic gold medalist has also become a victim.

It looks like the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony has not yet started, but the hype is already building. Unfortunately, this excitement has been overshadowed by drama. Australian BMX Olympic champion Logan Martin was robbed on the eve of the sporting event. Also, in an intense under-23 match, Argentina played a thrilling game against Morocco last night, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

The Argentina national anthem was loudly booed inside the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in Saint-Étienne, and there was a pitch invasion with flares and bottles thrown onto the pitch at the Argentina players.

As mentioned earlier, Logan Martin, like other champion players, has been robbed. Martin, who came to win the gold medal once again after his successful outing at the Tokyo Olympics, posted on Instagram showing that his team’s van had been broken into and smashed, with glass scattered all over the floor.

The Australian bicycle rider revealed that his bikes were thankfully not in the van, but his backpack and wallet were missing.
