Neeraj Chopra’s best throws: Will golden boy break 90m mark in Paris Olympics?

Neeraj Chopra will compete for the gold in the Paris Olympics, aiming for his second gold medal following his victory at the Tokyo Olympics.

India’s ‘golden boy,’ Neeraj Chopra, carries the responsibility of winning another gold for India at the Paris Olympics 2024. Chopra is a top medal contender in javelin for India. He joined the Indian contingent at the Olympic Village on August 30. The Indian star will begin his Olympic campaign on August 6, with the final scheduled for August 8.

Neeraj Chopra had became the first Indian track and field athlete to win an Olympic gold medal and only the second Indian overall with a best throw of 87.58 meters in the finals.

Will golden boy break 90m mark in Paris Olympics?

Neeraj aims to breach the 90m mark, and at the Paris Olympics, he will strive to achieve his longest throw to clinch the gold.

“I will try to breach the 90m mark before that (Paris Olympics). Hopefully, it happens before Paris, everything is going on smoothly, so (people) might not have to wait till the Olympics, it might happen before that. The preparation is good,” Chopra said
