Neeraj Pets Police Dog

Ahead of his Javelin Throw qualification on Friday, Neeraj was seen petting a police dog. Neeraj was training at the Hayward Field on Wednesday as he geared-up for the final piece of preparations. While Neeraj was seen adoring the dog, the pet too enjoyed Neeraj’s company.

Neeraj was kitted in his blue kits and shorts as the dog came close to him before the Olympic champion waved his hands over him. The incident took place after Neeraj had finished his training in the evening.

High Expectations from Olympic Champion Neeraj Chopra

With the kind of form Neeraj is in, he will have shot at the Gold medal. He has won two silvers and one gold post Tokyo Olympics success. His throws have been quite impressive as well. He missed the 90m mark by just six cms, and has throws of 86.69m and 89.30m.

These are impressive numbers considering his entire focus this season has been at the Worlds. With no Asian Games scheduled this year, he is expected to go full tilt for gold in Oregon.
