Mubadala World Tennis Championship: Rafael Nadal tests positive for COVID-19 on Spain return, tennis star informs through Tweet

“Hi all. I wanted to announce that on my return home after playing the Abu Dhabi tournament, I have tested positive for COVID in the PCR test that was performed on me when I arrived in Spain,” tweeted Nadal.

Rafael Nadal had returned to Spain after taking part in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi. The Spaniard had returned to court after recovering from a hamstring injury. But now with being diagnosed with COVID-19, the former World No.1 is doubtful for the Australian Open scheduled for next month i.e. January 2022.
