Iranian Kabaddi star Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh has once again gotten a high price in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 11 auction. On Thursday, Haryana Steelers bought him for 2.07 crore rupees, marking the second consecutive year he has crossed the 2 crore mark. In the previous season’s auction, Shadloui set records by becoming the costliest foreign player in PKL history and the second-most expensive player overall when Puneri Paltan acquired him for 2.35 crore rupees.

At just 23 years old, Shadloui began his PKL journey with Patna Pirates in the 2021-22 season. Despite experiencing disappointment with the Iranian national team in the Asian Kabaddi Championship and Asian Games finals last year, he found success in the PKL. Shadloui played a crucial role in Puneri Paltan’s first-ever PKL championship victory, leading the league with 99 tackle points in Season 10.

Iranian defender Fazel Atrachali goes into Bengal Warriors for ₹50 lakh. In Season 9, Atrachali was bought by Puneri Paltan for ₹1.38 crore, making him the most expensive defender in PKL history.
