5. Ja Morant
Number five on our list is Memphis Grizzlies star, Ja Morant. The 23-year-old has age on his side and can take his time mastering a new sport. Moreover, his athletic ability is one of the best in the NBA. In addition, Morant has often shown he is not shy to get into altercations. Thus making him an ideal candidate to start our list.
4. Donovan Mitchell
Similar to Ja Morant, we also think Donovan Mitchell would succeed in the UFC. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ shooting guard can do it all on the court. In addition, Mitchell also lifts heavy in the gym and is a special athlete. Plus, the American has recently shown his grappling skills when he took down Dillon Brooks during a game.
3. Zion Williamson
At number three is New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson. The young superstar is a handful to deal with in the NBA thanks to his size, athleticism, and imposing style of play. All of these would also make him a menace in the octagon. Moreover, he would be one of the fastest heavyweights in the UFC.
2. Nikola Jokic
Eastern European UFC fights have risen over the past few years. And we believe Serbian star and reigning MVP Nikola Jokic would also be a great UFC fighter. The Denver Nuggets star does not shy away from a confrontation, likes to play in tough situations, and is an imposing figure. Therefore, we can see Jokic being a problem in the light-heavyweight division.
1. Giannis Antetokounmpo
At number one is probably the most obvious in Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek superstar is a freak of nature with his height, agility, and unbelievable wingspan. His reach would cause many problems for his opponents if Antetokounmpo stepped into the octagon. So for his build alone, we think Giannis Antetokounmpo would be a great UFC fighter.
