Boxing News: Mike Tyson announced his return to the ring on social media and dropped an intriguing visual clip, thrilling the entire fight community. Mike Tyson has engulfed himself in several business projects and is once again a millionaire after going bankrupt in 2003. Now his sportswear brand ‘Tyson Pro’ is expected to do big business.

In his Instagram video, the former world champion wrote, “I’m returning to the ring! But this time with the launch of my new sportswear co Tyson Pro. Fighters wanted. Shop now tysonpro.com.”

Mike Tyson hung up his professional gloves back in 2005 after losing consecutively against Danny Williams and Kevin McBride via stoppage. His last few fights were just o get the paychecks incoming, which Mike Tyson publicly admitted to.

Holding a 50-6 professional record, Mike Tyson remains the youngest heavyweight champion ever till today. Meanwhile, he returned to the canvas at the age of 54 and fought Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight, which inspired several other retired fighters to make a comeback.

After a full-length contest, Tyson looked like the better fighter against ‘Captain Hook’ Jones Jr. But since it was an exhibition, no winner was announced, and the WBC handed both men honorary titles.

Boxing: Will Mike Tyson ever return to the ring again?

After competing against Roy Jones Jr, in November 2020, Mike Tyson vowed to appear in several more exhibitions. He even teased a potential trilogy against Evander Holyfield or a rematch against Lennox Lewis. Besides, many UFC legends also expressed interest in fighting Mike Tyson.

The rumors surrounding the ‘Mike Tyson fight grabbed attention for several months. However, it faded after Tyson denied his interests and seemed focused on his other roles. At the moment, Mike Tyson is an entertainer and has been appearing in several film projects too. So, he doesn’t seem to be lacing his boxing gloves ever again.
