DJ Whoo Kid calls Mike Tyson a mental health situation advocate. The Spanish singer though agrees that there have been situations where he has felt his mental health deteriorate. He says at the end of the day they are all human beings and humans are open to being vulnerable.

The topic of mental health isn’t something that we hear people talk about on a regular basis. Especially when it involves them. The topic is very sensitive as different people have different perspectives when it comes to talking about the human mind. The field is vast with a lot to explore. Science and Medicine have been putting all their effort to explore this field and bring more answers to the common people.

J. Balvin says just like any other man he too sufferers from anxiety and depression but he ensures to deal with it positively. He makes sure to take his pills and handle them in a disciplined way. Blavin also mentions “You gotta be man enough to accept that you have weakness and you’re vulnerable and that you need help”.

Mike Tyson too follows him, saying he has his wife reminding him from time to time to take his pills. Viewers are also made aware that Mike Tyson takes anxiety and depression pills every day, twice every morning and before going to bed.

The statement makes J.Balvin feel more comfortable talking about his mental health situation. It can really be tough to be a celebrity on whom millions of people keep their expectations, be it performing well in the next fight or producing a good piece of music. With pressure comes stress and extra added stress triggers anxiety and overthinking a situation. Mike says that there are very rare situations where we can find him walking around without his pills.

But Mike makes sure to mention that he is not depressed. Mike says being an athlete the athletes might have a tendency to keep doing one particular thing over and over again terming it “obsessive-compulsive disorder”, but Balvin says that he believes mental health situations can happen to anybody and everybody. Fame or money doesn’t have anything to do with it. Though fame might act as an extra external stimulus to trigger the mental health of a person.

J. Balvin keeps good care of his health because he believes that a good healthy body will allow him to have a healthy mind, and he says “Health is priceless”. Mike adds  the very saying “Your first wealth is your health.”
