It was a poor showing from the supporting cast of Luka Doncic. Kristaps Porzingis had a game to forget as he could only manage to score 9 points.

Luka Doncic had a massive outing and the Mavs led by 25 points in the 1st quarter but then the Clippers went on a 14-2 run when Doncic was rested. He still finished with 44 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists.

Game 3 will be at the American Airlines Center and the Mavericks will be looking to double their lead.

Morris gets a technical for taunting the Mavs bench as soon as he hit the 3rd 3 pointer from the same spot.

Clips lost a point when it was determined that an earlier field goal was a 2, not a 3, so it’s 78-75.

Kleber reached down toward his Achilles after that one. But he’s staying in the game, it appears.

Then again, that made Doncic mad. And normally he plays even better, somehow, when he’s mad.

Paul George has been amazing for the Clipper tonight. He has 22 and brings the lead for the Clippers.

The Mavericks have looked clueless in the 1st quarter with Doncic. In the 2nd, they have lost the lead but B2B 3s from Brunson and Kleber gets them their lead back.

Marcus Morris has not been efficient at all with his shots.

Looks like Dirk is in the house, in one of the suites. As Tim Hardaway noted in LA, Mavs are 2-0 when Dirk attends.
