Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has created history for India after she bagged a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air rifle event in Paris Olympics 2024, on Sunday. She shot a brilliant 221.7 in the final to clinch her first medal at the Olympics. After the medal-winning feat, the youngster though made it clear, that was just the start, as India needs to gear up for many more.
“Well I feel great and it was a long due medal for India, I was just merely in a mode to do it, and India deserves even more medals, as many as possible. So we are looking forward to as many events as possible this time and the entire team has worked really hard and personally for me the feeling is really surreal I feel that I did a good job,” she told on JioCinema.

Manu Bhaker went on to reveal, that she had put in a lot of effort, and it was all about fighting her inner demons. “I put in a lot of effort and even in the last shot I was just fighting with all energy that I had. And this was a bronze but I’m really grateful that I could win a bronze for India, maybe better next time,” she added.
