The para-shooter’s father also spoke about the athlete’s disability and how a nerve damage resulted led to the situation minutes after his birth. He credited his son for observing others to learn the sport and said that he grew up with an attitude that never addressed his disability as a concern.

Manish started shooting at the 10X academy in Ballabgarh in 2015 where coach Rakesh Singh took him under his wings. The win in Paris marks Manish’s second consecutive medal at the Paris Paralympics, following his gold medal win in the same event at the Tokyo Paralympics.
