Filip Krajinovic vs Sumit Nagal

India’s Sumit Nagal too was awarded a wildcard in the tournament. He will face Filip Krajinovic, who is the sixth seed in the first round. Nagal had a forgettable season in 2022. His best performance was reaching the quarterfinal at the Meerbusch Challenger event. It was also his only appearance in the quarterfinal of any event in that year. He is now looking to climb up the rankings in the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, Krajinovic is ranked World No.54. His best performance in 2022 was a runner-up finish at the Queen’s Club Championship. He also reached the semifinal at Open Sud de France. He has been a consistent performer in the top level of the tour. For Nagal, Krajinovic will pose a big challenge.

The other big matches on the day will be between fifth seed Alex Molcan and Laslo Djere. Both the players are ranked within the top 70 in the rankings. There will also be an all-Sopanish encounter. Roberto Carballes Baena will face his compatriot Bernabe Zapatta Miralles.
