Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the developer of more sweet science masterclasses than anyone else when it comes to pure boxing talent. Mayweather was able to dismantle a lengthy number of opponents thanks to his accurate jab, timing, precision, and counterpunching skills.

He performed it using two different versions of himself. While “Money” Mayweather would eventually calculate and outbox opponents with masterful boxing, “Pretty Boy” Floyd was the more aggressive boxer who brought the fight to them. Whichever style you favour, Floyd Mayweather Jr. becomes a legend thanks to both of his bodies of work.

But Leonard Ellerbe Dismisses Terence Crawford’s Chance of Beating a Prime Floyd Mayweather as he writes on Twitter, “ Lol stop it. Let that man enjoy his big win, he deserves all the kudos he’s getting now. Not surprised at all coming from him that’s his guy. I’m not a fan of mythical matchups at all but he trippin.”

We observe Crawford being the more energetic and aggressive fighter early on, launching and landing blows — even though many of them are absorbed by Mayweather’s shoulder and elbow — following a tense first round when each boxer is trying to gauge the other.

By the middle rounds, Mayweather’s fighting style had taken hold; he would pelt Crawford with jabs while winning some of the rounds.

However, under relentless pressure, Crawford’s firepower could reach Mayweather, sometimes even enough to harm the legend.

As close as we expect this fight to be, Crawford’s fighting skills and those jarring blows might be just enough to convince judges to give him points for pressure and volume over Mayweather’s style of boxing.
