Bryant spent his entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers, was the Charlotte Hornets Round 1 No. 13 pick in 1996. However, he was directly traded to the Lakers, where he went on to win five championship titles. Bryant retired in 2016. Kobe Bryant Birthday: Kobe Bryant passed away with his daughter Gianna and seven others, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. The chopper crashed into the hills and all occupants passed away, with officials reporting the cause of death to be blunt force trauma. Bryant was posthumously inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021, with Vanessa delivering the acceptance speech on Bryant’s behalf
