After the fight had been postponed twice previously, Viddal began to consider its likelihood. In addition, he advised Tommy Fury to return to Love Island and carry on with his plans if he withdraws for a third time.

Later, the cruiserweight boxer stated that The Problem Child would bless Tommy Fury. Meanwhile, his podcast partner claimed that Paul vs. Fury would be a sting fest. He continued by saying that although Tommy is a boring boxer, everyone would undoubtedly watch it due to the hype.

Ultimately, Viddal concluded that Paul is a better boxer than Fury and that there are fewer opportunities for Fury to knock out “The Problem Child.”

The Paul vs Fury fight will take place at 185 pounds over eight rounds and air on BT Sport and ESPN+. Two prior efforts at a fight have failed, with Fury being forced to withdraw due to a broken rib and then being unable to fly to the US for the second scheduled fight in August.

Paul (6-0) is three months removed from his most significant victory, a decision victory in the boxing ring against former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Fury (8-0) most recently competed in April last year, defeating Daniel Bocianski by decision.

Paul vs Fury: co-main event

The other bouts on the card will include fighters from Bob Arum’s Top Rank, Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, and Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. WBC Cruiserweight Champion Ilunga Makabu will compete against Badou Jack in the co-main event. In the 135-pound division, Ashton Sylve (8-0, 8 KOs) will compete against Maxwell Awuku (48-5-1, 33-2 KOs).
