After bagging a slew of medals at the Paris Paralympics, India would be looking to swell their medals tally on day 8 of the Games. The biggest hope of the day will be in women’s 200m T12 event, where the current world champion Simran Sharma will be in the fray. Apart from that, para archers Pooja and Harvinder Singh will be in action in mixed recurve event.
Then, there will always be hopes for a medal in shooting. In the 10m air rifle Mona Agarwal and Sidhartha Babu will play in the 50m Rifle Prone SH1 event. Coming to powerlifting, Ashok will compete in the men’s 65 kg final.
