Boxer Nishant Dev will step into the ring for his quarterfinal bout. A win here would assure India of another medal and advance him to the semifinals. His match is scheduled for just after midnight on August 4, promising an exciting start to the next day’s events.

Tajinderpal Singh Toor, India’s shot-putter, could also be in finals action if he qualifies from the previous night’s event. Meanwhile, golfers Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will continue their campaign in Round 3 of the men’s event. Both will aim for strong performances to stay in medal contention.
