India at Paris Paralympics 2024: Hokato Hotozhe Sema seizes bronze with personal best

The men’s shot put F57 final are taking place. Soman Rana and Hokato Hotozhe Sema are the Indian athletes in the men’s shot put event. Earlier, long jumper Praveen Kumar won India’s sixth gold medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024 in the men’s T64 event. Praveen set a new Asian record with a jump of 2.08m, which was also his best jump of the event. The day ended with Hokato Hotozhe Sema winning the bronze medal in the Men’s Shot Put – F57 Final event. This bronze medal took India’s medal tally to 27.
