Logan Paul Earning From His Match Against Floyd Mayweather
For those who may not be aware, Floyd Mayweather secured substantial earnings in his encounter against Logan Paul. Mayweather’s earnings for the exhibition match included a base wage of $10 million, along with 50% of the pay-per-view revenue. As a result, Mayweather’s total earnings for the match reached an impressive $65 million.
In contrast, Paul’s earnings for the bout were reported by sportingfree.com. He received a base salary of $250,000, along with a 10 percent share of the pay-per-view revenue. Before the fight, Paul had hinted in an interview with TMZ that he had the potential to earn as much as $20 million from the event.
However, according to sources, Floyd Mayweather reportedly didn’t fulfill Logan Paul’s rightful share of the 1,000,000 Pay Per View purchases as stipulated by their contract. When asked about the sum Mayweather is allegedly supposed to pay Paul during an interview on Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast, Mayweather simply responded with “millions.”
Pushed for more details by Schulz, Paul continued, “No, I don’t think so. Probably just under 5 [million], over 2 [million]. Yeah, like enough for me to [say] pay me my f***ing money.” Considering all the factors at play, despite not receiving a substantial portion from Mayweather as expected, it appears that Logan Paul has still managed to accumulate around $10 million from his various earnings and ventures.
