When he returned to the ring in April against an undetermined opponent at London’s O2, Joshua attempted to make it 16 fights in a row so that he wins.

Joshua had already stated that he would be open to a rematch with Whyte, who handed him his toughest test then and nearly pulled off a shock before being knocked out.

In his grudge bout against his amateur foe Whyte, AJ won his first million-pound payout. For his back-and-forth battle with the Brixton Body Snatcher, which he won by knockout in the seventh round, the Watford fighter took home a tidy £3 million.
