Hawks vs Bucks Live Game 3 Quarter 4
Middleton. Again. He’s been unreal in this fourth quarter. The Bucks lead by five.

That’s 32 points from Khris Middleton, who struggled in Game 2 but has dominated tonight. He’s made six 3’s tonight.
And here comes Trae Young. He’s on the bench.
Gallinari over Middleton! That’s 15 for Gallo in one of his biggest games of the postseason.

Trae Young is headed to the locker room. It’s worth noting that this is usually when Young takes his break, or rather, close to it (he sits at the beginning of the fourth). This might not mean much. It might just mean that he’s getting taped up. But it’s something to watch for sure.

Portis has had such a huge night. That 3 cuts the Hawks lead to three, but more importantly, Portis is +15 in a game the Bucks are losing. His energy has been so infectious.

Young and-one! That’s 28 points for Atlanta’s superstars. That’s just really smart offense right there. With Lopez expecting the floater, Young blows past him for the layup.
Middleton answers with a 3, and the lead is back down to four.
It looks Gallinari is in a little bit of pain. The Hawks can’t have that with all of their other injuries right now.
Trae wide open for 3 and the lead is back up to seven.
Another floater for Trae Young. The Bucks did such a good job of taking that away in Game 2.
Four quick points for the Hawks and they have the lead back at 60-56.

If the Hawks lose this game, this stretch here will be one of the moments they look back on as why. They’ve sacrificed some easy points at the line and near the rim.

The Hawks have eight 3’s in the first 14 minutes of the game.
Now it’s Gallinari’s turn and the hot shooting for the Hawks continues. Exactly 60% of their first 35 points have come from behind the arc.
Middleton wanted the foul on that 3. He doesn’t get it, but Lopez does get two shots in the end.

Bobby Portis playing in such a lopsided game is an interesting decision. On the one hand, it gives the Hawks such an easy target on defense. On the other, he’s such an energy player. One big dunk could swing the momentum of this game. Bold choice by Budenholzer.

Middleton scoops it in, but with Giannis on the bench here, the Hawks have a real chance to extend this lead and put this thing out of reach early.
Bogdanovic for 3! That’s so huge for Atlanta. Bogdanovic has struggled so much through knee pain, but if he can get going, that changes everything for the Hawks offensively.
The Bucks had Brook Lopez play up on ball-handlers off of ball screens in Game 2. For whatever reason, he didn’t there, and Trae Young got the floater that killed the Bucks in Game 1.

Jrue Holiday is getting so many easy layups in this series that he didn’t get against Brooklyn. I think that says more about the Nets than it does the Hawks, but it’s worth noting if Milwaukee advances.
Those pick-and-pop 3’s are gonna be there for Lopez all night. If he doesn’t hit them, the Bucks are going to have some trouble. Atlanta leads 7-0 after Huerter’s 3.

Another turnover. That’s three straight for the Bucks and the Hawks lead 4-0.
Giannis turns it over on his first possession leading to Hawks points. He’s playing through some calf tightness tonight so we’ll see if he’s at all limited.
