He won the match 6-4, 3-6, and 6-3 after losing the second set to his German compatriot. He will face either Ugo Humbert or Sam Querrey in the next round.

Zverev has won 6 titles in clay and 9 in hard courts. But, he is yet to win a title in the grass court. He would like to change the stats ahead of the Wimbledon- year’s third grand slam.
