GOATS Reunite! Rafael Nadal & Roger Federer meet up at the Rafa Nadal Academy

The two legends of the game have developed a friendship despite being on-court rivals for more than 15 years.

Rafael Nadal and his fans were left disappointed after the 2-time champ had to pull out of the Australian Open 2024. After coming back from his injury after nearly a year, the Spaniard suffered a setback at the Brisbane International. However, in these moments of despair, his fans finally have something to cheer for.

After returning to his hometown, Manacor, the 24-time Grand Slam champion met up with his rival turned friend, Roger Federer. The dynamic duo, often known as ‘Fedal’, has blossomed into a friendship despite being lifelong rivals on the court.

Posting images of them together at the Rafa Nadal Academy with the caption: Great to have you here with me today my friend. Thanks for the visit and hope to see you again very soon 🙏🏻.

In the images posted by Rafael Nadal, he can be seen showing Roger Federer around his facility. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Federer has visited Nadal’s academy.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion was present at the opening of his rival’s academy in 2016 while both were recovering from their respective injuries.

Not only that, but Federer had also sent his sons, Lenny and Leo, to the academy for a camp after they had discovered their love for tennis.
