From Grand Slams to Grand Designs: Ruud’s Next Match? Picking Pillows and Paint Colors!

Casper Ruud, known for his prowess on the tennis court in Grand Slams, is now venturing into a different arena—Grand Designs

Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud has successfully progressed to the second round of the Australian Open 2024. In a commanding performance at Margaret Court Arena, Ruud secured a decisive victory over Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-3, 6-1 in the first round. Ruud demonstrated dominance throughout the match, only conceding five games to Ramos-Vinolas, ultimately clinching the win with ease.

Rudd, whose love for golf is well-known, said he would spend the evening after his win on a zoom call with an interior designer rather than be on the course like he does.

“I don’t think there’s time to golf today. I actually have a zoom call with an interior architect tonight” said Ruud after winning Australian Open R1 match,

“I’m gonna have to prepare for that & think about other things. Fabric, color, mixing, blah blah blah. It’s a bit different than tennis” he added,

At the age of 24, Casper Ruud stands as one of the premier talents in tennis, showcasing a formidable forehand that is widely recognized as one of the most potent in the game. Despite his prowess on the tennis court, it’s noteworthy that Ruud could have opted for a professional career in golf. His father, Christian Ruud, a former world No. 39 in tennis, shifted to golf when injuries prematurely concluded his tennis career.
