Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud has successfully progressed to the second round of the Australian Open 2024. In a commanding performance at Margaret Court Arena, Ruud secured a decisive victory over Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-3, 6-1 in the first round. Ruud demonstrated dominance throughout the match, only conceding five games to Ramos-Vinolas, ultimately clinching the win with ease.
Rudd, whose love for golf is well-known, said he would spend the evening after his win on a zoom call with an interior designer rather than be on the course like he does.
“I don’t think there’s time to golf today. I actually have a zoom call with an interior architect tonight” said Ruud after winning Australian Open R1 match,
“I’m gonna have to prepare for that & think about other things. Fabric, color, mixing, blah blah blah. It’s a bit different than tennis” he added,
