Felix Auger Aliassime leads first quarter
After facing a first round exit at the Astana Open, Felix Auger Aliassime enters Astana Open as the top seed. He has received a bye to the second round and will face the winner between Marton Fucsovics and Oscar Otte in the second round. The next seeded player in this quarter is Brandon Nakashima. The eight seed will begin his campaign by facing Richard Gasquet in the first round. Italy’s Giulio Zeppieri, who has received a wildcard to the tournament and Altug Celikbilek will face each other in the first round.
Lorenzo Musetti headlines second quarter
Lorenzo Musetti is the third seed in the tournament and the local favourite has received a bye to the second round of the tournament. He will face either compatriot Lorenzo Sonego or Zapatta Miralles in the second round. David Goffin, who defeated World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz in the Astana Open begins his campaign at Florence by facing wildcard entrant Francesco Passaro in the first round. Sixth seed Jenson Brooksby is the other seeded player in this quarter. The American faces compatriot MacKenzie McDonald in the first round of the tournament.
Maxime Cressy leads third quarter
Fourth seed Maxime Cressy is the top-seeded player in the third quarter of the draws. He has received a bye to the second round and will face the winner between JJ Wolf and wildcard entrant Francesco Maestrelli in the second round. Seventh seed Alexander Bublik is the seventh seed and he will begin his campaign by facing Cristian Garin in the first round. Meanwhile, Italian qualifier Flavio Cobolli will face Corentin Moutet in the first round.
Matteo Berrettini leads final quarter
After participating in the Laver Cup, Matteo Berrettini makes his return to the ATP Tour at the Firenze Open, where he is the second seed. He will begin his campaign directly from the second round and will face either Daniel Galan or Roberto Baena in the second round. Aslan Karatsev, who is the only other seeded player in this quarter faced Tallon Griekspoor in the first round. Meanwhile qualifier Tim van Rijthoven and Mikael Ymer will begin their campaign by facing each other in he first round.
