However, according to “The Eagle,” Magomedsharipov is the greatest featherweight in the league.

The current UFC star Magomedsharipov was cornering one of his teammates when the previously unbeaten UFC lightweight champion assisted his cousin Usman in beating Mike Hamel on his Bellator debut.
Magomedsharipov was hailed by Nurmagomedov as the best featherweight in the world on social media. Magomedsharipov was ranked third in the UFC when Khabib Nurmagomedov made the claim that he was the finest featherweight fighter.
Well, this statement of Khabib wasn’t very well accepted by the fans, as they commented “ No, he would get absolutely smashed by Volk”.

The 30-year-old Russian has an overall record of 18-1 in mixed martial arts, is currently on a 14-fight winning streak, and his most recent defeat was in 2013. With victories over Mike Santiago, Calvin Kattar, Jeremy Stephens, Brandon Davis, Kyle Boachniak, and Sheymon Moraes, Magomedsharipov has a perfect 6-0 record since joining the UFC roster in 2017. By all appearances, he is someone who, as Nurmagomedov did, has all the makings of a potential UFC champion.

Magomedsharipov is currently in a holding pattern despite the fact that Yair Rodriguez withdrew from several battles against him; this was not his fault.
