Another day and the WFI controversy continues. The Delhi Police has now urged the court to frame the charges against former WFI President Brij Bhushan Saran Singh. The ex WFI chief has been charged with sexual harassment charges against female wrestlers over an year back.
The Delhi Police has gone against Brij Bhushan. The police has opposed the claims of Brij Bhushan who said that the incidents took place overseas. As a result, the they should not fall under the justification or purview of the Delhi Police.

With time passing by, the Delhi Police has now asked the court to frame the charges against Brij Bhushan Saran Singh. “Delhi court has jurisdiction to try this case,” the police told the judge.
The Delhi Police has gone on to provide evidences of the incidents of sexual harassment committed by the ex WFI president. The matter will be further heard by the court on 20th January.
The country was shocked when the wrestlers protested about Singh for the alleged charges. Following these incidents, the Delhi police went on to file charges against Singh under the sections of 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354-A (sexual harassment), 354-D (stalking) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
