CWG 2022: Former international badminton player from India Trupti Murgunde has high hopes from Indian shuttler PV Sindhu at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Sindhu has been carrying India’s flag at badminton in multi games event for quite sometime now. Murgunde believes Sindhu has it in her to win a gold medal and once again bring laurels to the country.

Sindhu has always been at his menacing best when it comes to representing India at big-ticket events. Her impressive resume includes bronze and silver medals at Olympics. Besides, she has five World Championships medals, including one gold in 2019. However, she is yet to win gold in the singles competition at CWG.

“Of course, in the women’s singles, Sindhu is doing very well at the moment. Considering his potential competition for the CWG, she has a good chance to win the gold,” Murgunde told InsideSport.
