Women’s Singles Final – PV Sindhu beat Michelle Li 21-15, 21-13: It was a redemption for PV Sindhu. After losing the CWG gold medal match to Saina Nehwal in 2018, she converted the colour to gold this time. In a lop-sided final, she beat Canada’s Michelle Li 215-15, 21-13.

Men’s Singles Final – Lakshya Sen beat Ng Tze Yong – 19-21, 21-9, 21-16: Sensational Lakshya Sen continues to flourish at a young age of 20. He lost the first game narrowly 19-21 to NG Tze Yong. But in a supreme comeback, he demolished Yong in the 2nd game 21-9 to force the gold medal match in the decider. However, Yong could not sustain the pressure and it was Lakshya’s confidence that took a toll on Yong. In the end, Lakshya raced to a 21-16 scoreline and win his maiden Gold medal at the CWG.

Men’s Doubles Final – Chirag-Satwik vs Lane-Vendy 21-15, 21-13: The Indian pair was the clear favourite coming into the gold medal match against the English pair of Lane & Vendy. The Indian duo dominated from the word go and took the first game with ease at 21-15. While Lane-Vendy mounted a comeback in the second, Lane suffered an ankle injury that made things difficult for them.
