Alcaraz made it to the last-four after clinching a come-from behind 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win against Max Purcell in the quarterfinal. Alcaraz had to play three sets in all the matches so far in the tournament.
Hubert Hurkacz meanwhile enters the contest after clinching a straight set win against Alexei Popyrin in the quarterfinal. Hurkacz clinched victories in three sets in the first two rounds of the tournament against Thanasi Kokkinakis and Borna Coric. He then clinched an upset win against fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round. The Pole hopes to clinch another similar upset victory against the top seed.

16th seed Zverev clinched a 6-2, 6-3 win against Adrian Mannarino to reach the semifinal. Earlier in the tournament, he knocked out third seed Daniil Medvedev by clinching a three-set win. It was the only game in the tournament in which he dropped a set.
Djokovic leads the head-to-head record 7-4 against Alexander Zverev. Their last meeting was at the ATP Finals in 2021 in which Zverev clinched a 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 win. The German hopes to replicate a similar show against the World No.2 veteran.

Aryna Sabalenka vs Karolina Muchova
Aryna Sabalenka will be aiming to reach the final for the sixth time in a tournament this year. The second seed will face French Open finalist Karolina Muchova in the semifinal.
